Author Guidelines

Authors are requested to submit their original and unpublished manuscripts through the International Journal of Computational Intelligence and Neural Systems (IJCINS) online journal submission portal only. Authors must register with the journal before submitting their manuscripts. If already registered, authors may simply log in and follow the submission process. Submissions through email or other forms of communication will not be accepted.

The manuscript should generally contain the following major sections:

  1. Introduction
  2. Methods and Materials
  3. Results and Discussion
  4. Conclusion

Funding information and Conflict of Interest statements should be included at the end of the manuscript before the References section.

Ensuring Blind Review

To ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer-review process, authors should carefully remove all identifying information from the manuscript and file properties before submission.

The following steps should be followed:

  • Remove author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and any identifying details from the manuscript.
  • For PDF files, remove author information from the Document Properties under the File menu in Adobe Acrobat.
  • For Microsoft Word documents, remove personal information from file properties using:
    File → Save As → Tools/Options → Security → Remove personal information from file properties on save.

Authors should ensure that the submitted manuscript is completely anonymous for peer review purposes.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to ensure that their submission complies with all the following requirements. Manuscripts that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.

  • The submission has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • The submission file must be in Microsoft Word document format.
  • The text should be single-spaced and prepared using a clear academic font style.
  • All figures, tables, and illustrations should be placed at appropriate positions within the manuscript.
  • References, citations, and formatting should follow the IJCINS manuscript preparation guidelines.
  • The manuscript must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
  • Authors should ensure that the manuscript does not contain plagiarism or unethical content.
  • If the manuscript is submitted for peer review, authors must ensure that all identifying information is removed to maintain a blind review process.

Authors publishing with IJCINS agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
  2. The published articles may be shared, distributed, and reproduced with proper acknowledgement of the original authorship and publication source.
  3. Authors may enter into separate agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work, such as institutional repositories or personal websites, with acknowledgement of its initial publication in IJCINS.
  4. Authors are encouraged to share and disseminate their research online before and during the submission process to increase visibility and citation impact.
